Andrea is originally from upstate New York and Chicago and has been living in Rome for over twelve years. She has a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology from Northwestern University and has been a passionate art history scholar for many years, specialising in the Medieval era. She also loves teaching the interconnections between Jewish and Roman history and Judaism and Western Art.
David was born in Toronto, Canada. He has a Yeshiva background and a degree in elementary education from the City of New York. He has lived in Brazil, Costa Rica, Denmark, Switzerland, Israel and now Italy for the past fourteen years. He has taught in Jewish day schools in Hebrew and English. He loves Roman architecture and its amazing Jewish heritage.
Roy helped establish Rome For Jews and still selects and trains the docents personally. He is by trade an award-winning playwright and actor, performing in both Italy and the United States, and by passion a historian, interpreter and Talmud instructor. He is currently busy promoting his internationally best-selling book The Sistine Secrets: Michelangelo's Forbidden Messages in the Heart of the Vatican, co-authored with Rabbi Benjamin Blech.
